I remember going to Turkey in my teens and being blown away by the calibre of men there – even my cab driver from the airport had my jaw on the floor. In World Of Men: Turkey, O’Neal follows on from the success of films like World Of Men: Argentina and World Of Men: Spain to bring us a quality selection of the men from the former Ottoman Empire. There’s always been something inherently sexual about the country, I mean, hello, Turkish baths anyone?? And this film is infused with that kind of sweaty, scintillating imagery. Forget the Fezzes, these are horny Arab men, in rough and masculine encounters.

After a few external shots of Istanbul to set the scene, we’re taking inside a bathroom where Jean Franko and Jesus jump in the shower to rub each other down.
