Gay porn’s love affair with Arab men continues – as does porn consumers’ interest in the taboo same-sex relations of the Middle Eastern world. We’ve seen a massive investment in these themed films of late, and no shortage of new stars from that region to perk our interest. It’s a little bit about the perceived forbiddenness of gay men there, a little bit about the masculinity of stars of that ethnic origin and plenty to do with their plentiful assets.

While this isn’t as big budget as some of the epic Middle-Eastern porn we’ve seen before from the likes of Raging Stallion Studios with titles such as Tales Of The Arabian Nights and Arabesque, there’s a real sense of authenticity here with this film.

Alexander Pictures has had some experience with specific racial porn subgenres – including Arab porn before with Arabian Fever – and this is their next effort in appealing to that new base.

Middle Eastern-themed porn – despite being all the rage at the moment – is still a market that is yet to be fully capitalized on. Riding on the tails of popular films like Arabesque and the rise to prominence of stars like Francois Sagat, there have been a few studios with an eye to replicating their success, but mostly in cheap and uninspiring attempts.

Despite the sudden interest in films featuring actors from the sand-dwelling regions of the globe, studios seem to have a lot of trouble getting a group of these fellows together. Maybe it’s just the conservative nature of those countries that gives us a smaller talent pool to pull from, but a whole film packed with these buffed, bronzed gods is quite a unique occurrence. This tends to be why a lot of studios try to palm off other nationalities as Middle Eastern in an effort to cash in on the fad.

Alexander Pictures‘ Arabian Fantasy is the latest to try its hand. Despite being somewhat dubious at the thought of a film about Arabs being filmed in Brazil (are these just South American actors posing as Middle Eastern ones, I think to myself?), the hot men on the cover were certainly worth giving the new market entry the benefit of the doubt.
