Even though we mainly feature adult films on this site it doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy a good gay story. That’s why I have to share with you the latest on Holding Trevor.

Holding Trevor is the story of Trevor Holden who is trying to find himself in all the wrong places and with all the wrong people. That is until he meets the charming Ephram. He’s everything that Trevor wants but that doesn’t mean he fits into his life. How he deals with balancing love and friendships is a struggle we have all faced and what makes this story such a poignant tale of love…all kinds of love.

If there is anyone in Hollywood who intrigues me to no end it’s Asthon Kutcher. Sometimes I see him on screen and I want to turn it off and other times I see him and I’m head over heels for him. There’s something about him that’s definitely a mystery. After all he can be a total goofball and at the same time make totally romantic movies like my personal favorite A Lot Like Love. And let’s not forget he’s married to a much older woman and at a time when he could have been playing the field like crazy not only did he make commitment but he took on the role of father to three daughters. He might just be the perfet man!

Ok so it took me a while to write this post because to write it meant I had to admit to everyone that I do in fact watch I Love New York and all those celebrity reality shows on VH1. But it’s true I do and this was too good to pass up. The guys at QueerClick pointed that one of the contestants on I Love New York 2 could be a former Fratmen model. There was one guy who got nicknamed “Unsure” because New York and her mother, Sister Patterson, weren’t sure if he was straight or not and I guess like the saying goes mother’s always know. New York’s mom pegged him as gay and if he’s not gay then he’s at least gay for pay. QueerClick breaks it down in detail and I agree I think that’s him. What do you think?

Well all you fellow fans get ready for what could possibly be “the mother load” of hotness. Sexy blogger Kenneth In The 212 is claiming to have stumbled upon Thomas’ Manhunt profile! Complete with nudes (granted without a head but still hot!).

If you’re in the NYC area and want to watch a porn star on Broadway now’s your chance. Ryan Idol (aka Marc Anthony Donais) has just been named part of the Roundabout Theatre Company’s upcoming revival of Terrence McNally’s The Ritz, directed by Joe Mantello. According to Broadway.com, Idol will be joined by Rosie Perez, Kevin Chamberlin, and Brooks Ashmanskas.

Idol will be playing the part of one of the patrons of the bathhouse where the action of the comedy is set. This is Idol’s Broadway debut but not his stage debut. The former Playgirl centerfold and performer of such films as Idol Eyes, Idol in the Sky, Idol Worship, and Idol Country previously appeared onstage as a replacement star of the off-Broadway comedy Making Porn.

The Ritz starts performances at Studio 54 on September 14. Opening night is set for October 11.

Poland’s ombudsman for children’s rights has said she will not be asking state psychologists to examine the BBC children’s programme Teletubbies for a gay subtext.

Ewa Sowinska has been widely mocked since she said in a magazine interview that the popular show might not be suitable for public television because one of the ostensibly male characters, Tinky Winky, carries a handbag.

Ms Sowinska is a member of the League of Polish Families, a political party which is part of the country’s coalition government.

Party leader Roman Giertych is education minister, and has repeatedly expressed homophobic views.

He intends to introduce legislation similar to Section 28 in the UK, banning the “promotion” of homosexuality in schools.

Ms Sowinska’s spokeswoman Wieslawa Lipinska told AP that the ombudsman does not intend to ask psychologists to examine the programme for signs it encourages homosexuality.

“They are fictional characters, they have nothing to do with reality, and the bag and scissors and other props the fictional characters use are there to create a fictional world that speaks to children,” Ms Lipinska said.

“We are not going to deal with this issue any more.”

The BBC had previously rubbished any implication that the show had a hidden agenda, pointing out that many children of both sexes like to play with bags.

Teletubbies was produced in the UK between 1997 and 2001, and won a BAFTA in 1998.

It is still broadcast all over the world, to the delight of both its pre-school target audience and adult admirers.

LOS ANGELES – May 1, 2007 – here!, America’s premium gay television network, is pleased to announce that openly gay actor Reichen Lehmkuhl joins the cast as one of the new stars of season three of the gothic supernatural soap Dante’s Cove. Now in production in Hawaii, season three of the show will debut on here! in October 2007.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to have a talent like Reichen on board,” said Meredith Kadlec, Vice President of Original Programming for here!.  “He is the perfect triple threat for Dante’s Cove – he has a loyal fan base, he is proudly out, and he is simply gorgeous.” 

Lehmkuhl first rose to fame after winning the grand prize on the CBS show The Amazing Race. From there, he went on to build an acting resume with gigs including Frasier, The Drew Carey Show, Days of Our Lives and The Young & the Restless. On the big screen, he has been seen in films including Partners and The Scorned, as well as having a role in the here! Films project The Mostly Unfabulous Social Life of Ethan Green. 

Off screen, Lehmkuhl recently published his first book, HERE’S WHAT WE’LL SAY: Growing Up, Coming Out in the U.S. Air Force Academy, which was published in 2006 by Carroll & Graf.  The book chronicles his experiences in the U.S Air Force under the United States’ “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy requiring gay and lesbians enlistees to remain in the closet. In addition, after serving as a spokesperson for jewelry designer Udi Behr for his international company Love and Pride, Behr recently launched a new line, Fly Naked, based on Lehmkuhl and his love of flying.

Dante’s Cove, America’s sexiest guilty pleasure, was named the Best Soap Opera by leading gay and lesbian publication The Advocate in 2006. The series follows a cast of mostly gay and lesbian characters who all live together at the Hotel Dante in the sleepy beachside community of Dante’s Cove. When a dark, supernatural force is accidentally released from the basement of the Hotel Dante, the hotel residents are plunged into a world of intrigue, secrets and shifting romantic ties.  

On the show, Lehmkuhl will play Trevor, a business school graduate who comes to Dante’s Cove looking to find himself. While there he becomes quickly intertwined with the beautiful men and enigmatic forces crawling all over the island. His close association with the immortal witch Grace (Tracy Scoggins) draws Trevor into a magical world and a dark battle he never could have imagined.

The wildly popular Dante’s Cove recently became the first original series ever to be picked up for a third season by a gay television network. Lehmkuhl joins an already popular cast of actors including Tracy Scoggins, Thea Gill, Jenny Shimizu, Charlie David, Greg Michael, Michelle Wolff and Erin Cummings.
