It’s been a while since I’ve reviewed a Falcon Studios title and why not return to the gloss and big budget world of porn with a title that sounds like it could be a bad Wes Craven movie. Director John Bruno’s Pledgemaster: The Hazing brings together Falcon favorites like Erik Rhodes with new talent the studio’s snared like Derrek Diamond and Cameron Marshall – both established stars, but not ones I’ve ever associated with Falcon before.
If you hadn’t guessed it from the title, this new film is set at college where six pledges have to prove they’ve got the goods to be part of the hottest fraternity on the freshly-mowed lawns. Hazing, humiliation and domination all ensue, naturally. I think we’re getting past the point where Rhodes could be a college freshman – much as I love him – so I was interested to see how they were going to play out his one-on-one that concludes the film. Perhaps he’s there as a mature-aged student? Sorry Eric, you’re still great.
My recommendations for particularly great scenes would have to be the orgy in scene two with John Magnum, Nash Lawler, Kyler Benz and Dayton O’Connor (simply because the more college-studs in a scene the better) and of course Eric’s scene out of the pure interest and because he’s still at the top of his game regardless of how long he’s been in the porn business. I mean that body, hello!
